There is a possibility that your browsing patterns will be statistically analysed when your visit this website. Such analyses are performed primarily with cookies and with what we refer to as analysis programmes. As a rule, the analyses of your browsing patterns are conducted anonymously; i.e. the browsing patterns cannot be traced back to you.
You have the option to object to such analyses or you can prevent their performance by not using certain tools. For detailed information about the tools and about your options to object, please consult our Data Protection Declaration below.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Tag Manager is a tool with which we can integrate tracking and statistics tools and other technologies into our website. Google Tag Manager does not create user profiles itself, does not save cookies and does not perform any independent analyses. It is only used to manage and execute the tools that are integrated via Google Tag Manager. However, Google Tag Manager records your IP address, which can also be transferred to the parent company of Google in the United States of America.
The use of Google Tag Manager takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the fast, uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on its website. Provided that appropriate consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent can be withdrawn at any time.
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. This provides the website operator with various types of usage data, such as page views, length of visit, operating systems used, and origin of the user. This data may be compiled by Google into a profile, which is assigned to the respective user or their device.
Furthermore, we can use Google Analytics to record, among other things, your mouse and scroll movements and clicks. Google Analytics also uses various modelling approaches to supplement the recorded data sets and employs machine learning technologies for data analysis.
Google Analytics uses technologies that allow the user to be recognised for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information recorded by Google regarding the use of this website is usually transferred to a server of Google in the USA, where it is saved.
This analysis tool is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. Provided that appropriate consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the saving of cookies), processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Data transmission to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. You can find details here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transferred to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transferred by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.
You can prevent the recording and processing of your data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographics on Google Analytics
This website uses the “Demographics” function from Google Analytics in order to be able to display suitable advertising to website visitors within the Google advertising network. This allows reports to be created that contain statements on the age, gender and interests of website visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and user data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a certain person. You can deactivate this function at any time using the ad settings in your Google account or generally prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data as shown in point “Objection to data collection”.
Data saved by Google at a user and incident level, which is linked to cookies, usernames (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID), is anonymised or deleted after 2 months. You can find details on this at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=en

If the SSL or TLS encryption is activated, data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information about, rectification and eradication of data
Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right to at any time demand information about your archived personal data, their source and recipients as well as the purpose of the processing of your data.
